The ACVPM challenges fellow veterinarians engaged in public practice to improve the strength and breadth of their knowledge in veterinary preventive medicine by pursuing board certification. This experience will enhance personal skills, expand professional expertise, strengthen the specialty of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and ultimately favorably affect the health of mankind and the animal kingdom.

From the Webmaster
As part of our ongoing enhancements to the ACVPM web site, you may experience periods of service interruption or certain features may be temporary disabled. We will try to keep these disruptions to a minimum and mostly at night, please try again a little later.

We are in the process of totally overhauling the current web site with a bunch of new features and enhanced usability.

2-3-2010 - We had a service disruption today for several hours causing the site to go down. Everything is now operational.

From the EVP –
ACVPM members will continue to be members of AAPHV until the AVMA meeting in July 2010.  We highly recommend that you become active members of AAPHV.  We have removed AAPHV from this website but you can link to their information at http://www.AAPHV.org.

AAPHV officers have been working on a number of membership benefits including a new website, which is now available at www.aaphv.org! Some documents are available to members only.

This website will be managed by the AAPHV Communications Workgroup.  We are just beginning to put AAPHV information on the website, and could use member suggestions for website content. Send suggestions to the Communications Workgroup Chair Dr. Millicent Eidson at mxe04@health.state.ny.us.  Additional AAPHV members to join the Communications Workgroup would be much appreciated. The Communications Workgroup mission is available on the website.
